Charlotte, NC (April 2009)- John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods took home 10 awards at the Home Builders Association of Charlotte’s 24th annual Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence (MAME) Awards presented March 28th. The company received top honors as Builder of the Year for the fourth consecutive year. In addition, Wieland was recognized with gold awards in the Custom Home of the Year (over $750,000) and Product Design of the Year (over $750,000) categories for The Ashley Designer Model at Olmsted in Huntersville, one of the builder’s newest Charlotte locations. The Kensington Showcase Home at South Charlotte’s Longview Country Club took gold for Model Interior Merchandising of the Year (over $750,000). The company also garnered awards for a variety of marketing efforts including print advertising, email, creative design and sales center design.
